CNC Router Machinist - Day (7:30am-4pm) / Swing Shift (12pm-8pm)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sets up, prepares, and loads raw materials or parts onto machines, and performs machining operations on parts requiring close tolerance
  • Comprehends technical documents, such as blueprints and drawings, set-up diagrams, written/verbal specifications, and basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Monitors in-use machines throughout the day by checking for tool wear, making offsets, or replacing tools
  • Ensures part conformance to specifications using standard measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.)
  • Measures and records parts or materials to control quality and minimizes rework and scrap
  • Abides by shop safety principles and works as part of a high performing team

  • Experience as a router machinist (ideally 2+ years experience)
  • Follows instructions, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and communication skills
  • Understands the qualities of plastics and applies that knowledge to machining
  • Knowledge of machinist hand tools and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Proficient computer skills including knowledge of ERP systems (Epicor), CAD/CAM, Excel, etc.
  • Coursework or a degree in machine tool technology or a related field
  • Experience using 2-, 3-, and 5-axis routers (Stratos, Thermwood) a significant plus

CNC Lathe Machinist - Day Shift(7:30am-4pm)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Comprehends technical documents, such as blueprints and drawings, set-up diagrams, written/verbal specifications, and basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

  • Ensures part conformance to specifications using standard measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.)
  • Measures and records parts or materials to control quality and minimizes rework and scrap
